  • What if my breast pump requires maintenance?

    If your pump should require maintenance or repair, please contact the manufacturer’s number on the information packet you received and they will assist you.

  • Do you provide hospital grade pumps?

    Most Insurance providers provide hospital grade pumps on a rental basis only, however; we currently do not provide hospital grade pumps.

  • Is there a Co-Insurance/Co-Pay breast pumps?

    Under the Affordable Care Act most insurance plans are required to cover breast pumps with no cost sharing, ,meaning no deductibles and/or co-insurance. Therefore, in most cases your breast pump is covered at 100%. We will verify your insrance coverage. 

     

  • Where do you currently provide breast pumps?

    Our nationwide breast pump delivery service allows us to provide breast pumps across the country.

    However, majority of our breast pumps are delivered in the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia. Residents in the Washington DC Metropolitan area also have the ability to pick up their breast pump

  • How soon will I receive my breast pump after order is processed?

    After the order is processed (i.e prescription is received and insurance coverage verified) it can take anywhere from 1 to 3 days to receive your breast pump. 

    We will contact you if your breast pump isn't available to make alternate arrangements.

  • Is a prescription required to get a breast pump?

    Yes, most if not all payer require that we obtain a prescription or physicians order. We will contact your physician on your behalf and gather any prescription or document needed by your Insurance company. 

  • Can my breast pump be covered under fathers plan?

    No, Insurance providers only cover breast pumps under the mothers plan.

  • How soon prior to giving birth and how late after birth can I obtain a breast pump?

    This depends on your insurance coverage; some insurance plans will allow us to provide you breast pump anytime prior to delivery while some allow delivery of your breast pump up to 30 days prior to the birth of your child and up to 12 months after delivery. 

    For example, most BCBS plans except for Carefirst will allow the delivery of breast pumps anytime during your pregnancy. Conversely, most United Healthcare plans will allow purchase up to 30 days before your delivery date or 365 days after your delivery date. 

  • Breast Pumps and Affordable Care Act

    The Affordable Care Act (ACA) now require health insurance plans to cover breastfeeding services and supplies without cost sharing. If you have a private or commercial insurance, this law applies to you and this means that Electric, Manual and Hospital Grade breast pumps are now covered for lactating women.

  • How Do I know when my breast pump ships?

    A tracking number will be emailed or provided to you via telephone once your breast pump ships.

  • Can I return my breast pump?

    Unfortunately, due to the fact that breast pumps are considered personal hygiene items, we are unable to accept return of breast pumps once it is delivered.
